Market marginally edged lower

Market marginally edged lower with speculative counters continuing top market activity. PC house, Environmental resources and Vallibel One topped the turnover list while the motor sector saw the biggest gain led by United Motors.
All Share Price Index declined by 0.02% to close at 6990.33 while the liquid Milanka Price Index declined by 0.11% to end the day at 6286.93.
Volumes increased by 7% to 173m, whilst turnover increased by 15.3% to Rs.3.3Bn.
The gainers list was led by Amf Co Ltd and Gestetner while Miramar and S M B Leasing [X] led the Losers.
Pc House topped the turnover list with Rs.611m to the day’s turnover whilst Pc House dominated the volume list with 28m shares.
A total of Rs.5m net FII outflow was witnessed for the day.
