Market Watch Daily: Indices recover to finish the week

Market recovered after the slump witnessed during last few days, with prices surging across the board. The turnover came near LKR 1 Bn mark, while the activity picked up to a certain extent. JKH share price rejuvanated as it closed at LKR 194.80 gaining 3.90%. Banking sector stocks and Manufacturing sector stocks also attracted investors. A crossing of 7,959,600 shares of BLUE-Voting took place at LKR 8 while the share price closed at LKR 6.20 gaining 0.50%.
- Diversified sector contributed mostly to the market turnover (due to JKH) while sector index gained 1.03%.
- Positive contributors outnumbered negative contributors by 176 to 34.
