Weerasinghe joins Taprobane Holdings Board

Former top banker A.G. Weerasinghe has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Taprobane Holdings Ltd.
Weerasinghe is a former Chairman of Pan Asia Bank, and former Deputy General Manager of Bank of Ceylon as well as Seylan Bank. Holding a BA (Econ), he is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers and a former Assistant Lecturer of the University of Ceylon, Peradeniya.
He also serves on the Boards of ASCOT Holdings Plc, Browns Investments Plc, AgStar Fertilizers Plc., George Steuarts Financial Services (Pvt) Ltd., South Asia Financial Excel Investments (Pvt) Ltd., Suncity Property Developers (Pvt) Ltd., Suncity Residencies (Pvt) Ltd. and New World Securities (Pvt) Ltd.
