Market Watch Daily: Mixed note to finish the week

Indices closed on a mixed note after witnessing rapid gains during early trading hours. Investor participation could be witnessed in HVA and AAF. The share price of HVA closed at LKR 13.10 losing 2.24% after witnessing a surge where it recorded an intra-day high of LKR 14.20 during early trading. Interest could be witnessed in CTC today as well which turned out to be the top ASPI contributor (5.15 points).
• Beverage, Food and Tobacco sector contributed mostly to the turnover (due to HVA and CTC) while the sector index was up 0.36%.
• Diversified sector also contributed to the turnover while the sector index closed 0.09% down.
