Market stayed on the lackluster mood with less investor participation. Collection could be witnessed in SAMP at LKR 160 mostly
while the share price closed at LKR 160.30 losing 0.19%. JKH also attracted investors with the share price increasing by 0.27% to close at LKR 185.50. Accumulation was witnessed in ECL where the price closed flat. Price depreciation of CLC, CTC and HNB mostly weighed on ASPI while MPI made marginal gains amidst the price gain of JKH.
• Bank, Finance and Insurance sector contributed mostly to the market turnover and the index dropped 0.74%.
• Diversified sector also contributed to the market turnover while the index gained 0.24%.
